Love is complex

Seems like a mess

Every time I get into

I get obsessed

I can’t sleep or eat

I can’t drink or dream

Without thinking of you

I am in distress

When I look into your eyes

I see the whole world smile

I see a future 

Brighter than sunshine

I want to hold you so tight

I want to surprise

With all the joys in the world

Someday you will be only mine

But now I have lost you

The heartbreak ensues

The pain won’t go away

I say I won’t love again

But that’s not true

We are not through

I never got to say goodbye

You were supposed to

Heartbreak doesn’t mean

You will never love again

Pain is important 

For growth and gain

My love was not in vain

You are still alive in me

Insane they call me

You live in my memories

One day I will move on

One day I will be strong

One day I will wake up 

Without tears across

Love can be simple

It can be beautiful
